Delete your Shredhead account

Last updated October 18, 2026. This page covers the Shredhead iPhone and Android apps.

Delete it in the app

Open Shredhead and go to your Profile.
Open the menu and tap Delete account.
Confirm. Your account is deactivated right away.

Or ask us by email

If you cannot open the app, email donny@shredhead.us from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". Include your username so we can find it. We will confirm by reply.

What happens next

Right away: your account is deactivated, you are signed out, and other riders no longer see your profile, check-ins or posts.
Within 30 days: we delete or anonymize your personal information.

What we delete

Your profile, username, email address and phone number.
Your profile photo and the photos and stories you uploaded.
Your check-ins, ride days, streaks and ride summaries.
Your friend connections, group and club memberships, and carpool listings and bookings.
Your notification token and any hashed contact details linked to your account.

What may stay

Messages you sent in group chats can stay visible to other members without your name.
Records we need for legal, security or fraud-prevention reasons, and reports about abuse, for as long as that reason applies.
Usage counts that are not linked to you personally.
Copies in backups, which are removed on a normal cycle.

Other services

Deleting your account does not remove data held by other companies. If you connected Strava, disconnect Shredhead in your Strava settings. Merchandise orders are kept by Shopify under its own policies.
